50th Celebration Ice Cream Sandwich

March 18, 2022 by Brent Leave a Comment

The 50th Celebration Ice Cream Sandwich from Dino Bite Snacks is one beautiful dessert, but is it worth the price and hype?

50th Celebration Ice Cream Sandwich

For us, it’s a no – here’s why. The cookies were stale and hard. And when we say hard, we mean you-might-break-at-least-five-teeth hard. The ice cream itself is nothing special: vanilla soft serve rolled in sprinkles… The cookies are destined to be double chocolate chip cookies, which would end up pairing well with the vanilla soft serve.

For $7.29 (+tax), you get a pretty ice cream sandwich that is hardly edible. Yes, the dessert looks great and boasts the 50th celebration logo and some fun sprinkles. But, you are far better off spending your hard-earned money on an ice cream sandwich or Mickey Bar (or a Dole Whip!) instead of this…

Of course, this is entirely our opinion on the treat and the decision is all up to you. Experiences vary – we very well could have gone on an off day (however, the park was very busy – so the product should have been fresh…). Ultimately, we just couldn’t find it in us to tell you that this was the greatest ice cream sandwich we have ever tasted. When we love something, we will be 100% honest with you. Which also means that when we find something that falls far short of the bar, we want to let you know!
