End the perfect Valentine’s Day with these delicious Strawberry Tarts!
Valentine’s Day is not complete without strawberries, so we decided to take chocolate-covered strawberries to a new planet with these delectable tarts. This is another super-simple recipe in our Valentine’s Day series. If you haven’t seen the other recipes, check them out! So far we have made an Oreo-filled Chocolate Bark and the perfect Waffle Bar.
These pastries are inexpensive to make and require very little time or effort. You can print this recipe at the bottom of this post. So, let’s get to baking!
Begin by bringing the oven to 350ºF. While the oven heats, roll out the room temperature puff pastry to 1/4″ thick. After the pastry is rolled out, slice into 6 even rectangles. Form a border around the edges of each rectangle by folding each side.
Using a fork, poke holes into the center of each rectangle and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. While the puff pastries bake, combine the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a mixer until smooth. Once the pastries have finished baking and are cool, spread the cream cheese mixture over each rectangle
Next, top each pastry with sliced strawberries, and toasted almonds. Melt milk chocolate and drizzle a spoonful of chocolate over each pastry. Finish each pastry with a light dusting of confectioner’s sugar.
That’s it! This is one easy-to-make recipe that you will want to keep forever. Feel free to be creative with these Strawberry Tarts add other fruit during the year or replace strawberries with your loved one’s favorite fruit!

Strawberry Tarts
Ingredients
- 1 package Puff Pastry room temperature
- 8 oz Cream Cheese softened to room temperature
- 1 c Confectioner's Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Strawberries sliced
- ½ c Sliced Almonds toasted
- ½ c Milk Chocolate melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
On a lightly floured surface, roll one sheet of puff pastry until ¼" thick. Slice into 6 even rectangles. Fold edges in to create a border on each rectangle. Poke each rectangle in the center with a fork.
Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry.
Bake at 350ºF for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
In a stand mixer, combine cream cheese, vanilla extract, and confectioner's sugar until smooth.
When puff pastries have baked and cooled, spread cream cheese mixture in the center area of each rectangle.
Top with slices of strawberries, toasted sliced almonds, and drizzle with melted chocolate.
Finish with a dusting of confectioner's sugar and serve.
