Café au Lait

April 30, 2018 by Brent Leave a Comment

When staying at or visiting Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort, a visit to Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is a must. This wonderfully themed dining location is the food court at French Quarter. With a menu featuring magical meals from beignets to French toast, each meal will make you break out into a happy dance.

One of the iconic treats at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is the Café au Lait. French for “coffee and milk”, this wonderful coffee is the perfect pick-me-up or evening drink. Unlike “white coffee”, Café au Lait is made using hot milk instead of cold milk.

The smooth and rich coffee has a wonderful flavor where it is not too bitter with the right amount of natural sweetness. However, this may leave you with one tough choice: do you order a Café au Lait or a Chicory Coffee??
