Recently, we discussed several dining options onboard Royal Caribbean ships. From casual bakeries, to extravagant signature dining rooms, there’s an option for everyone. While planning for your cruise you may get confused – some options come with an added fee while others are included in your cruise fare.
Room Service is a confusing one. Continental breakfast is included in your cruise fare, while the remaining offerings are available for a small fee (currently $7.95 per delivery). While the food delivery is free for continental breakfast, it is traditional to tip the food runner. It is also worth noting that additional breakfast options are available, and are not included in the free room delivery ($7.95 charge).
What makes room service worth it? You’re on vacation! While most offerings come with a slight charge per delivery, you can enjoy your meal from the comfort of your balcony while enjoying the picturesque view. Not to mention the offerings range from Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes and Mimosas to Grilled Salmon and freshly baked Pizza (continue scrolling to the bottom of this post for full menus).
While you plan for your cruise you may think about trying all of the sit down dining locations. Plans change, and you might find yourself wanting to kick back in your room with your family and friends and enjoy a delicious meal with unforgettable memories.
