We recently began talking about the exciting dining options on Royal Caribbean ships. Today we are going to take it a step further and dive in to Harmony of the Seas. To start off, let’s look at the ship itself. Harmony of the Seas is an Oasis-Class ship from Royal Caribbean, she’s the largest of the fleet – and the largest class in the world! The ship has seven “neighborhoods” which span from Central Park to Coney Island, each boasting exquisite dining and entertainment.
Harmony of the Seas embarks on 7-night excursions throughout the Caribbean and departs out of Port Canaveral, Florida (PCN). These 7-night sailings have a selection of restaurants all included in the cruise fare, with additional offerings available for an added fee. The included restaurants onboard Harmony of the Seas are Solarium Bistro, Windjammer Café, and the Main Dining Room. Today we are going to look at these three locations!
The Main Dining Room is an elegant, table service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each morning, guests can indulge in continental and American breakfast staples. Lunch offerings span the globe featuring classic burgers to sophisticated dishes from all over the world.
Each evening, dinner becomes an unforgettable affair where a new menu is served each night. The menu often includes options like Maryland-style crab cakes, baked French onion soup, even braised beef short rib – all served from your dedicated wait staff.
A few weeks ago, Royal Caribbean launched a fleet-wide vegan menu at the Main Dining Room. This new menu boasts edamame-stuffed portobello mushrooms, vegan spaghetti “bolognaise” and Orzo pasta stew with green vegetables. Dessert options include a toffee “cheesecake” with dark chocolate and a peanut butter crust.
At the Solarium Bistro, healthy and fresh food is the focus. This buffet-style restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with health-conscious options. The casual and relaxed atmosphere is perfect while you relax during your excursion.
Windjammer Café is a place for foodies. Taste your way around the world at this buffet-style eatery during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Start the day with breakfast offerings ranging from fresh pastries, juices, and much more. Lunchtime specialties include fresh-pressed paninis, pastas, salads, soups, sandwiches, carving stations, and more! While you’re at it, top it off with something sweet from the dessert station.
Dinner at Windjammer Café boasts stations piled high with dishes from around the world. These include grilled steaks, roasted chicken, and seafood. Dinner is not complete at Windjammer without dessert, so don’t forget to take a trip to the dessert station to indulge in sweet treats and the wonderful chocolate fountain. Windjammer Café also features vegan offerings for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
This extensive list of dining options on Harmony of the Seas only brushes the total amount of offerings available onboard. Check back and continue to follow along to find out about the experiences that await you on your next royal adventure!
