We have been on a brunch kick recently. And with plenty of dining locations around the Disney Parks and Resorts offering brunch, we have been quite busy trying as many as we can! From the Wine Country Brunch to the Rise & Shine Southern Brunch, there is a brunch option that fits every guest and family!
On the Rise & Shine menu at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, guests will find the House-Made Doughnuts. These mini iced doughnuts are the perfect starter “for the table” (but if we have to be honest, you will not want to share!). This starter comes in two variations – dusted with sugar and served with spiced cane syrup, or piled high with pecans and bacon drizzled with house-made caramel.
Naturally, we went with the bacon and pecan option for our mini doughnuts. The sweet and savory bite comes with a crunch from the toppings while the doughnut is warm and soft underneath. The bacon adds saltiness to the caramel sauce that blends together beautifully in each bite.
