Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to an iconic treat that will have you heading right back to the line to get more. The Zebra Domes, which can be found at several locations around both Kidani Village and Jambo House, are the perfect sweet snack for any time of the day!
What is a Zebra Dome? Zebra Domes start with a thin layer of white cake, enough to give some support and a base to hold the Amarula Liqueur mousse. The tasty treats are then covered in white chocolate ganache and a drizzle of dark chocolate ganache.
From the first bite, you are taken on a journey of flavor. Eating your first Zebra Dome might be an indescribably memorable experience, which brings us to the KC team’s favorite place to enjoy the Zebra Domes! Zebra Domes can be found in a variety of locations around Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
These locations include Boma – Flavors of Africa and The Mara. However, Zebra Domes have made their way to the refrigerated section of gift shops at the resort.
What is our favorite place to enjoy an order of Zebra Domes? The KC team likes to grab a box from Johari Treasures (at Disney’s Animal Kingdom lodge – Kidani Village). From there, the team likes to head to the observation overlook on the lobby level and indulge in the Zebra Domes while gazing into the savanna.
