8 Disney Restaurants Named Wine Spectator 2017 Award Winners
The Wine Spectator magazine awards restaurants each year for their dedication to wine. In 2017 eight Disney restaurants have been noted for “elevating wine selection and service around the world and encouraging strong programs that complement a variety of cuisines, settings and prices.” The eight restaurants span over two categories.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts cast members have taken a high level of interest in the wine industry. With more than 1,400 cast members accredited with a sommelier diploma through the Court of Master Sommeliers Americas, 9 receiving the Advanced Sommelier Diploma and 3 receiving the Master Sommelier Diploma.
Best of Award of Excellence – Restaurants that take commitment a step further, with wine lists displaying excellent breadth across multiple regions and/or significant vertical depth of top wines along with superior presentation.
