Crispy Fried Chicken on a Biscuit

July 11, 2017 by Brent 1 Comment

Dining at a Disney park also means finding a delicious meal outside of the parks. Whether you’re staying at the resort for a pool day or just beating the heat and crowds at the parks you can find some interesting and unique bites around the resorts. Today we’re talking about one of those unique finds from Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort.

At the counter service location, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, guests can find anything from a crawfish mac & cheese burger to freshly made beignets. But if you’re craving some spicy and sweet southern comfort food grab one of the Crispy Fried Chicken on a Biscuit sandwiches.

This crispy and juicy fried chicken is smothered in voodoo sauce before being topped with pickles. While the warm and flaky biscuit provides the perfect vessel to hold the fried chicken, it adds an extra layer of flavor while soaking up the tasty voodoo sauce!
