Disney Springs is a theme park for food!

There really is something for every palette at Disney Springs, and soon there will be even more. We recently talked about the concept art for Wine Bar George as they are currently constructing the location that is expected to open in late 2017. With over 100 wine selections by the bottle and glass to pair with small bites from local artisans this location will be a great place to enjoy the night with family or friends!

Portobello is expected to re-open its doors later this fall with the help of Top Chef Master and James Beard award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano. With signature Italian cuisine this refurbished location is right in the heart of Disney Springs.

Vague details have been announced about The Edison. This exquisite and industrial gothic restaurant/bar is expected to open in late 2017. The Edison will be a 1920s themed location with a vibrant Old World feel. Add on classic American food, signature craft cocktails and live entertainment and you have yourself a roaring nighttime location. This collaboration from the Patina Restaurant Group and Kinetescape’s Andrew Meieran will feature contortionists, aerialists, DJs, a cabaret and more!

More is to come to the food theme park in 2018 with two new concepts. Jaleo will open in the West Side of Disney Springs. Chef José Andrés and ThinkFoodGroup will serve up bites from Spain with an extensive menu. This will be the first location in Florida with only five locations in the United States and Mexico City and will feature a grab-n-go storefront on the first floor of the multi-level restaurant. The menu will consist of traditional and contemporary Spanish dishes and more.

Wolfgang Puck will add a new location in Town Center called Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. The modern bar and grill will add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the traditional bar with a laid-back Californian dining experience. The menu at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill will feature signature dishes from Chef Wolfgang Puck with a Mediterranean take on comfort food classics. Specialty cocktails, beer and wine will round out the menu.
