Introducing Kacey the Koala: NEW Mascot for Kingdom Cuisine

We are thrilled to announce Kacey the Koala – our new mascot!

Our lovable new mascot, Kacey the Koala, is an adorable koala bear who can’t go anywhere without their favorite plush animal – a Manatee! We dreamed up Kacey the Koala early on in our journey at Kingdom Cuisine, and today you can collect unique versions of Kacey as NFTs!

Kacey will soon be available across our merchandise, so you will want to follow us on Instagram to know when new products hit the storefront! And you might be wondering why we chose a koala with a plush manatee for our mascot.

Let’s look at Kacey first. Koalas are an endangered species largely due to deforestation. In fact, scientists think that at least 50 million trees are cut down or damaged in Australia every year! As trees are disappearing from their habitat, koalas no longer have a place to live or food to eat. They spend more time on the ground, which makes them vulnerable to attacks from other animals.

Now onto the plush manatee. Manatees are another endangered species. In fact, manatees are more threatened by human ignorance and carelessness as people commonly wound and kill manatees by operating motorized watercraft in their habitats. In Florida, rapid human population growth has led to widespread coastal development near estuaries and coastal wetlands, often at the expense of vital seagrass beds and warm-water springs.
