This is one of the BEST breakfast items at Magic Kingdom – and you probably walk right past it!
One of the best breakfast items at Magic Kingdom comes from Friar’s Nook – which is located in Fantasyland. The restaurant, which is inspired by the classic Disney film Robin Hood, has a small breakfast menu for a quick and delicious start to your day.
Friar’s Nook is notorious for their tots. Or should I say the perfectly golden, crispy, and delicious tots! The breakfast menu boasts a “snack” option of Sausage Gravy and Tots. Let me be clear, this is not a snack, this is a full meal.
The monstrous mound of tots are topped with sausage gravy. It’s a simple meal, but it is filling and quite tasty. While it might not be your Southern momma’s famous sausage gravy (or the sausage gravy from Wine Bar George) it’s simple and has a decent flavor. After my first bite, I added a little bit of salt & pepper which made it much better.
If you’re heading to Magic Kingdom to start the day, you’ll want to consider grabbing an order of the Sausage Gravy Tots. It’s up there with the famous Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow, and with a quick mobile order, you’ll be headed to ride the next ride in no time!
