We tried the 50th Celebration Cone at Swirls on the Water and it’s time to decide if it’s worth it or not…
The 50th Celebration Cone from Swirls on the Water is certainly a pretty treat. But, is it worth the hype? I have said it many times before that Disney Springs is the theme park for food, and a trip to Springs is not complete without a snack or drink. Recently, the Dole Whip location was moved and switched places with AristoCrêpes and opened with a new name, Swirls on the Water.
Currently the menu at Swirls on the Water, you can find the 50th Celebration Cone – Dole Whip® Lemon and Cookie Dough Soft-serve Swirl in a Cone with EARidescent sprinkles and a Mickey Topper. Before I dive into the taste of this snack, I want to note that you will, without a doubt, end up with a brilliant blue mouth.
The flavor combination with this cone is different. Between the lemon and cookie dough, it works but it’s not for everyone. By themselves, the flavors are good. The lemon Dole Whip® is refreshing and has and is great during a hot day. Meanwhile, the cookie dough has more of a vanilla flavor than cookie dough.
Ultimately, this is a relatively good treat but it might not be something you need to rush to Disney Springs for right this second. Just make sure you are headed to the car after eating so you don’t walk around Disney Springs for an hour with a bright blue mouth… (That may have happened to me…)
