You can’t go to Wine Bar George and not try the Ibérico Pork Pluma!
Wine Bar George continues to amaze guests during the slow re-opening at Disney Springs. From virtual check-in, to online-only menus, the location is going above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and safe. And with the slow re-opening means we had to get our fill of delicious food from the famous restaurant as soon as we could get the chance!
On the small plates menu, guests will find the Ibérico Pork Pluma. Arguably our new favorite dish at Wine Bar George, this delicious meal is meant for sharing – although you will have a hard time doing so! The tender, well-seasoned Ibérico Pork is cooked beautifully and served over a flavorful au jus with crispy Yukon potatoes confit.
For those who might not know, Ibérico Pork comes from a specific breed of pigs native to the southwest Iberian Peninsula. This breed of pig develops fat in their muscles and under the skin, giving them their particular world renown quality.
The tender and juicy pork compliments the crispy potatoes that are a beautiful golden brown. While the elements comprising the dish are simple, the dish is elegant and executed perfectly making the simple dish complex and delicious.
If you are heading to Wine Bar George, you do not want to miss out on this exquisite small plate! Reservations can be made in advance here.
