Last week Winter Garden welcomed an all-new cupcake shop that is exactly what you need in your life. Sweet Dee’s Cupcakery is a one-of-a-kind experience with a cupcake bar alongside pre-designed concoctions that will make your mouth water. The shop has a variety of bases, fillings, icings, and toppings making a seemingly endless list of combinations.
We were delighted to join the opening day celebration and indulged in two sweet treats – Death By Chocolate and a custom cupcake from the Cupcake Bar. Owner and executive baker, Diandra Culver (Dee), says the cupcake bar was her way of creating a fun experience where guests create the cupcake they are craving.
The Death By Chocolate cupcake begins with a soft chocolate cupcake base that is filled with chocolate pudding and topped with chocolate icing, chocolate drizzle, and chocolate sprinkles.
Our custom cupcake began with a gluten free base with raspberry filling, chocolate icing, white chocolate drizzle, and cookie crumbles. Gluten free folks will love the gluten free base as it is soft, airy and smooth – and did we mention Dee plans to offer two gluten free specialties each day?!
