Epcot is a foodie paradise with countless delicious bites just steps away from the last. One of the often overlooked dining locations at Epcot is La Hacienda de San Angel. Located over the water in the Mexico pavilion, this restaurant features indoor seating with large windows and a nice view of the World Showcase (and Illuminations!).
On the dessert menu guests will find the Empanada de Manzana. This warm and flaky puff pastry dessert is enough to make you planning another visit to La Hacienda.
The puff pastry is filled with sautéed caramel apples and served with dulce de leche ice cream. It’s then topped with cajeta (caramel sauce) and a touch of powdered sugar. The two pair together beautifully for one delicious and memorable bite!
