Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one magical experience. We recently indulged in this experience and are starting the Afternoon Tea Series. This series will cover everything from the food and tea to tips and more.
We’re going to start this series off with an overview of what to expect at Afternoon Tea. After arriving at the Garden View Tea Room, check in using your reservation number with a cast member outside. When your table is ready, the pampering begins.
You are escorted into the small dining area and are taken to your table – perfectly decorated with folded napkins in the tea cups and a view of the garden outside. Your chairs are pulled out for you, and you napkin is placed over your knee by the cast member.
The staff working in the Garden View Tea Room are beyond helpful for first-time visitors. We suggest reading about afternoon tea etiquette, but you can always ask the cast members for help. Not a major tea drinker? Just ask for suggestions!
