The 2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival begins on August 30 (and will run through November 12, 2018) – and the 2018 festival brings exciting new offerings! Each year, Epcot is transformed into a food paradise with delicious dishes from all across the globe.
At the 2018 festival guests will enjoy a lineup of new additions including a Character Dance Party, a Mimosa Bar (yes, a mimosa bar!!), new Eat to the Beat performers, and wonderful new dishes from the Global Marketplaces.
Some new offerings at the Global Marketplaces will include a New Brunswick Slider (slow-braised beef brisket “pot roast style” with horseradish cream, crispy fried onions on a potato roll with pickled vegetables – located at Hops & Barley), Butternut Squash Ravioli (with brown butter vinaigrette, parmesan cheese, and pumpkin seeds – vegetarian – located at The Wine & Dine Studio), and a Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak (with a smoked corn cake, pickled vegetable slaw and cilantro – located at Flavors from Fire).
New artists will round out the lineup of performers during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. These new big-name artists include MercyMe, Glass Tiger and 98 Degrees among many others. View the full lineup here!
Remy’s Ratatouille Hide ‘n’ Squeak Scavenger Hunt will return in 2018 with a few new options for families. The Character Dance Party will entice small travelers on Friday and Saturday evenings to dance and play along with Disney Characters. In addition, an all-new playground will be available for guests to let little ones enjoy.
Lastly, there are a number of new events for guests to add-on to the Food and Wine experience. Sunday Brunch with the Chef will take guests on a journey with a renown chef on a delicious excursion to discover brunch.
