While the new land quickly approaches its opening date (May 27, 2017) guests can prepare to indulge in native bites from Pandora. Guests will be transported into a stunning new land of floating mountains and bioluminescent plants, but be sure to not skip the delicious bites!

Flavorful and creative dishes surround the world of Pandora with wholesome grains, fresh vegetables and proteins at Satu’li Canteen. An on-stage grill will be the prominent feature of the dining room.

The once main mess hall of the Resources Development Administration (RDA) base located in the Valley of Mo’ara. The canteen is now owned and operated by Alpha Centauri Expeditions (ACE) tour company and is redesigned into a beautiful dining room.

This fast-casual restaurant (Disney’s new counter-service dining experience where guests order their items, find a table and are notified when the meal is prepared), will serve customizable bowls for lunch and dinner. Starting with a base of quinoa and vegetable salad, red and sweet potato hash, mixed whole-grain and rice or romaine and kale salad. Next guests can choose wood-grilled chicken, slow-roasted beef, sustainable fish or chili-spiced fried tofu. The bowl is then finished with charred onion chimichurri, black bean vinaigrette or creamy herb dressing.

Guest will also find steamed “pods” – bao buns with either cheeseburger or vegetable curry and served with root vegetable chips and crunch vegetable slaw. Kids meals will include an option of grilled chicken or beef, fish or tofu with greens or rice, a hot dog wrapped in Parker House dough, cheese quesadilla, or a steamed “pod” (cheeseburger bao bun).

Satu’li Canteen will also be the first restaurant to feature Mobile Order. This convenient option  allows guests to order and pay for meals in the MyDisneyExperience App, letting guests bypass the queue to order when arriving at the restaurant. Guests will then tap an “I’m here” button in the app which will notify the kitchen to prepare the meal. Guests are then notified through the app to pick up their meal at a designated window.

Be on the lookout for more fast-casual and quick-service dining locations to offer this new Mobile Order option later this year. Disney Dining Plan is accepted at Satu’li Canteen however Mobile Order will only accept credit cards at this time.
