The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival may end on November 14, 2016, but guests traveling for the holidays will have plenty of new experiences at Epcot! Epcot Holidays Around the World will begin and run from November 25 through December 30th. This international yuletide extravaganza will expand in 2016 with 5 new Seasonal Tastes locations.
Prost! – This German location is where guests can enjoy an artisan cheese plate or sauerbraten with red cabbage and spätzle. Alcoholic ciders will also be served with hot Williams Punch, Caramel Kiss featuring Wether’s Caramel and glüwein (house-made spiced wine).
Alpine Haus – Between Morocco and France you will find duck confit, dumplings and roasted Brussels sprouts with a fig reduction along with cheese fondue in a bread bowl with fresh steamed vegetables, and sachertorte (chocolate cake with apricot jam and dark chocolate glaze). Frozen Winter Spice Hot Chocolate featuring Twinings of London Tea (alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions available), Weingut Stadt Krems Gruner Vetliner White Wine and Heinrich Red Blend.
American Holiday Table – Where you will spot slow-roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce. Also on the menu is a seared pork tenderloin with green bean casserole, roasted sweet potato wedges and a Champagne demi-glace. The large drink menu includes hot chocolate, eggnog, Cocoa Candy Cane (hot chocolate with peppermint Schnapps), Shipyard Eggnog with White Porter Aged on Bourbon, Firenog (eggnog with Fireball Whisky), Great American Wine Company Red Blend and Chardonnay.
Feast of the Three Kings Feast – As a tribute to Three Kings Day, this location will serve shredded beef tamale with avocado crema, roasted pork with mashed yucca and pickled green bananas, and Three Kings Bread. You will also find Coquito (coconut milk) and Coquito with rum floater.
Seasonal Southern Delights – Hoppin’ John (black-eyed peas, ham hocks and kale with rice and cornbread crumbles), blackened catfish with white cheddar grits with okra, tomato and onion stew, and a chocolate pecan tart. Frozen S’Mores and Central 28 beers will also be available.
All around the World Showcase guests will find hot and cold drinks as well as holiday sweets. These sweets include Mickey Santa Hat cupcakes (Fountain View restaurant), chocolate honey baklava (Morocco), panettone – an Italian Christmas cake (Italy), gingerbread ice cream and buche de Noel au chocolat – a Christmas cake shaped like a log (France), guava tamales (Mexico) and pai cha – Beijing-style fried dough twist with sesame (China).
