We all get a craving for something sweet, especially Chocolate Chip Cookies! The pastry chefs at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have created one of the best Chocolate Chip Cookie recipes you need in your collection!

Grand Floridian Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 10 tbsp butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

  1. Pre-heat oven to 330ºF.

  2. Sift flour, baking soda and salt into a large bowl and set aside.

  3. Combine butter, brown sugar and powdered sugar in a separate bowl and cream with electric mixer until fluffy.

  4. With mixer running, add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.

  5. Mix until combined, scraping sides of bowl.

  6. Slowly add flour mixture and combine.

  7. Fold in chocolate chips.

  8. Scoop 1 (one) tablespoon dough for medium cookies, or 2 (two) tablespoons dough for large cookies, place on an ungrased baking sheet.

  9. Bake until light golden, 10 to 12 minutes for medium cookies, 12 to 14 minutes for large cookies.

Ready in just a few minutes, these crowd-pleasing cookies are perfect for any occasion.

These are not the thick cookies found at the bakeries around the Walt Disney World Resort – such as the Main Street Bakery – but they sure do make for one tasty treat.
